WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

Ballerina White 2018, DAILY WINE recognition by Slow Wine 2020 Cataratto and Inzolia of a great freshness and flavor, two characteristics that support the fruity and vegetal aromatic profile, with citrusy tones and a beautiful green almond husk in evidence: a white only simple appearance, which instead has good complexity and above all great enjoyment.

Ballerina Red 2016, Nero d’Avola is coming from a welcoming atmosphere for the vine succeeds in expressing itself to the full, with notes of blackberry, geranium and brackish; in the mouth, it has a pleasant freshness and tannins.
LIFE
Here in contrada Ficuzza the family atmosphere permeates everything. It is perceived among the vineyards, in the cellar, and in the love for the work in the fields and for the territory.
VINEYARDS
Situated in the Nyssa inland, 300 meters above the sea, in the countryside of Butera, Sicily, land suitable for viticulture. The vines are all around the manor house and the cellar, on siliceous limestone soils. All local native varieties are grown, such as white grape, Inzolia, and Catarratto, then the black, Nero d’Avola, Frappato and Nerello Cappuccio.
WINES
The wines produced this year, all with an excellent balance between quality and price, take their name from the area where they grow. Ballerina Red 2016 is a Nero d’Avola, and Ballerina White 2018 vineyards, Catarratto and Inzolia, which got recognition as “Daily Wine” by Slow Wine 2020 and another award as Top Wine Sicily 2020.
